While things are generally kicking into high gear, I'm repeatedly overdosing on caffeine, Operation Okra Gumbo (i.e. the New Orleans travel plan) is coming to fruition, and I've rewoken my latent Cajun cooking interest. The caffeine intake is a double-edged sword:
  1. The less productive hours are much more workable.
  2. It attracts me to the possibility of okra/fruition puns and verbs with interesting but unsavory participles.
Clearly, it also compels me to employ list-based thinking too often ('overlisting'?), which offers some sort of pro-clarity/anti-terseness quality. And from there, I guess it's just double-edged swords all the way down...

On a side note: I was fortunate enough to participate in an outlandish - but very cultural - Guatemalan mating ritual this evening. Honestly, I never knew that drink paraphernalia could be used that way.
